Beginning life as toughened glass, laminated glass is typically 2 panels combined with a interlayer which gets sandwiched between the panels.
Should the glass panel suffer a breakage, the interlayer ensures the panel remains in place reducing the risk of shards and fragments becoming detached.
Laminated glass is highly popular amongst property developers, builders and architects for use in all sorts of buildings, with several applications.
